Update:
Boy Genius Report’s sources indicate that the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) 8820 is indeed headed to T-Mobile (NYSE: DT)’s network on March 24th. The T-Mobile BlackBerry 8120 is still slated for April 14, and will rock video recording thanks to a little software tweaking – bonus!

T-Mobile had us all up in a tizzy when they delayed their launch window for the T-Mobile BlackBerry 8820. With a GPS receiver, EDGE data connection, and WiFi, the BlackBerry 8820 is definitely a handset that we can’t wait to get our hands on. So when T-Mobile moved the initial launch from March 5th to “TBD,” we started to worry.

Well, Engadget Mobile has spotted a new launch date for the BlackBerry 8820 and it seems that T-Mobile is expecting to release the WiFi and GPS goodness on March 24th. We’ll be holding our breath…

The Blackberry 8820 will have a hard time competing with the new iPhone. The new iPhone will be 3G and have direct connectivity to exchange email servers.
