The Motorola board of directors have presided over a string of incompetent CEOs, starting with dull Mr. Tooker who was a stopgap for the anointed prince; then the tragic prince Christopher Galvin rose to the throne, but was not fit for the job; followed by the carpet bagging Ed Zander who collected millions for driving Devices into the ground; then the computer illiterate Mr. Brown (nose) entered the stage; and now Sanjay Jha with an automatic $30 million pay check in Oct 2010, even if he can't save Devices. Motorola Devices’ obituary will be written sometime in late 2010, after Sanjay collects his money and flees the burning ship. Oh well...another great American corporation ruined by lousy governance at the hands of inept directors. Each Motorola board member should resign in shame now.

Greg Brown has done NOTHING but load up on free shares of stock. Too bad pay for performance doesn't extend to the top. The little guys get bent over for the most trivial detail, yet 350 VPs screw up and they get enormous bonuses for screwing up. After being ignored for years, the CGISS / LMPS / public safety sector is finally important. When brownie came to MOT, he was amazed that we could make money "selling that crap" No that idiot gets credit for something that was there before he got here. All he has done is reduce the quality. If you take an extra day to do it right, you will miss a date and your performance metrics will suffer. The guys who hide their problems -- these guys always meet their goals. They're just living in fear for their jobs. I gave this rathole another 4 years to live. I'll be gone before then. What was once a career, is now just a job.
I know about quality.
My personal phone is an LG.
