Alcatel shows off Playboy phone at CTIA Las Vegas 2008

CTIA Las Vegas 2008 is slow, at least from a hardware/handset perspective. There haven't been many new announcements and even less new hardware on display. Still, some of CTIA's exhibitors really know how to entertain. Take Alcatel, for example.
The Alcatel booth wasn't the biggest or glitziest booth on the show floor. Not by a long shot. They didn't have amazing hardware. They did have, however, was a Playboy phone and a bunch of hotties prancing around the booth. Unfortunately, it seemed as though I missed the runway show.
The Playboy phone is a Playboy-branded Alcatel OT-V770A mobile phone for the discerning bunny-lover in all of us. Cellatel is handling the licensing of the Playboy brand. It comes in your choice of Gold, Pink, or Silver metallic trim, and plays up its Playboy affiliation to the brim. The Playboy phone sports the same 1.3 megapixel camera, media player, full-screen video playback, 10MB onboard memory, and microSD card slot as the Alcatel OT-VV770A, with the addition of that Playboy logo and embossed metallic rear-panel.
It's not high in features, but at 10mm thin, it's got gobs of style. The Playboy phone was only one of 20+ handsets that were at the booth today. The new lineup ranges from sporty and rugged to stylish and refined - but Playboy got the lion's share of the attention. Go figure.

wait, ur 10 year old has everything playboy? Anyywayys…It looks nice! But then I could always go to the store, grab a plyaboy sticker and throw it on the back of my centro and call it good. lol. I would rather place an xbox 360 elite sticker on my phone. That's what they really need to make. An Xbox 360 Windows mobile phone! Now that would be sweet!

Glad to know your laughing so much at this! Because you know I'm just so humorous. It's pretty sad that your 10 year old daughter knows the "meaning" of playboy. That's what we call "bad parenting". You might want to look it up. I will go play my xbox and I will enjoy it. You have fun explaining to your child what the word "fornication" means, ok? no it means good parenting as she know's what it means just like most kids in the world know what playboy stands for as if you had a child they ask you things and you tell them why should we lie to our kids
and all kids have to do is go online and put it in to google and it will tell them what playboy means and if you look in the world today we are not in the 60's no more and playboy stuff is just like golddigor to kids and they like keyrings and things not in the sick way you are thinking and yeah i lmao at you cos your the sick fck in thinking it first

Now the reason I say it's bad parenting is because if u were doing ur job then she wouldn't have to ask those questions and put u in the situation of answering them. And if ur kid can just go on the computer with no sort of web block then they can be exposed to all sorts of things such as nudity and that just brings up even more questions for u to answer. I understand that Playboy is a fashion statement but usually for teens above 16, and its not intended for children that young of age. But then again, not everyone has the same outlook of the word "parenting" that I do so you have ur own methods. The language was not appropriate as this was a simple debate. I was just questioning your method and I had a backup so I'm not the only one thinking it, I'm just one of the only ones saying it. Go color in your coloring book and take some happy pills because you need to chill out.
