ShoZu goes BlackBerry

By Dusan Belic on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008 at 10:38 AM PST In Announcements, Applications, CTIA Wireless 2008 @ Las Vegas, Services

ShoZu goes BlackBerryShoZu has (arguably finally) announced that it is now providing its popular social media sharing application/service to the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) owners. I’m not sure why it took them so long, but they are here now - ready to server BlackBerry Pearl and Curve owners.

If you’re new to ShoZu, you should know they enable instant and simultaneous direct-from-handset upload of media files to more than 30 social media sites — including Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Picasa and Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Blogger. In addition, ShoZu also allows users to receive automatic content feeds to their smartphones from select sites and/or stay connected with their friends and online communities through the service’s two-way multimedia capabilities.

The ShoZu service for BlackBerry will be available as a free download from ShoZu’s website and WAP site. The download will also be featured on Mobile.BlackBerry.com, as well as the “Built for BlackBerry” and “BlackBerry Owners Lounge” websites.
