		<description>The Wimax layoff occurred on March 26 with 350 out the door.  Within days Foxconn, RIM, Microsoft, Freescale, and Qualcomm arranged job fairs and are considering starting design centers.   

These people were the best of the best Motorola had.  There was no rhyme or reason.  Still today, the &quot;bottom 10%&quot; of employees,  which Motorola HR strived to identify over the last 5 years , still walk the halls.</description>
