Mobile Systems’ MSDict Oxford English dictionary can speak!

MSDict Oxford English dictionary can speak!Mobile application developer Mobile Systems recently announced that it has extended their licensing agreement with Oxford University Press to release the “most comprehensive English audio pronunciation database ever available for mobiles.” The Concise Oxford English Audio Module for S60 is based on the Concise Oxford English Dictionary and features 50,000 high-quality pre-recorded words. The sound module allows MSDict users to listen to and learn genuine English pronunciation directly from their mobile phones. It is already available for Symbian S60 smartphones and will soon be released for other platforms as well.

Existing MSDict owners can purchase the short Concise Oxford English Audio Module which contains 17,000 words for 14.99 EUR, while the full version with 50,000 words costs only 5 EUR more. In addition, for new MSDict users, Mobile Systems is offering Audio modules bundled with the MSDict Oxford dictionaries.
