NetBlender lets you control your Blu-ray Disc player with iPhone - transfer movies to iPhone

Blu-ray is the de facto disc-format of the next-generation. With the fall of HD-DVD, Blu-ray has recently gotten a significant boost in market share and consumer deployment. The newest technology for Blu-ray players will soon allow you to use your iPhone's sleek and industry-leading UI to control movie playback and the Blu-ray player itself.
NetBlender will apparently announce some new tech later this week (April 10) that will give the iPhone and iPod Touch. Dubbed BD Touch, the technology will allow networkable Blu-ray players to link their content to the iPhone - allowing you to use your iPhone as a remote control.
But, it doesn't end there. NetBlender says that their new technology will allow you to transfer a digital copy of the Blu-ray movie to your iPhone. The movie will likely be re-formatted for the iPhone (it just doesn't make sense to view a 1080p video on the iPhone), but we'll have to wait for the official announcement to see exactly how BD Touch will work.
