		<description>I noticed in the article that it mentioned that Telstra only have an EDGE network.  In actual fact, they have a 3.5G/HSPA network that has the largest coverage of any of the Australian carriers (goes by their marketing term of &quot;Next G&quot;).  The only difference is that they operate on a different frequency (850Mhz) to the other operators (2100MHz).
Hence, I would guess that a 3G iPhone would actually make sense with all operators, the only caveat being that it would need to support multi-band (850 and 2100).</description>
