Sprint phasing out Palm Treo 755pSad as it may be some (not sad at all, for others), all signs point to Sprint bidding the Palm Treo 755p a final farewell. The speculation is based on the fact that Sprint is no longer offering or listing the Palm Treo 755p on its website.

The phasing out of the Palm Treo 755p on Sprint is a bit puzzling, given that Palm just recently rolled out an update to the handset. On the other hand, the Treo 755p was meant to be a smaller Palm Treo offering that would appeal to both the consumer and business user, and with the Palm Centro making a lot of headway on Sprint’s network it might make sense for the lagging wireless carrier to do away with the classic lines (read: old) of the Treo 755p.

So, if you’ve got a place in your heart for the Garnet-powered Palm Treo 755p, you might be able to get some killer deals on used units in the near future. Craigslist and eBay are your friends.
