Verizon Wireless hosted VZEmail

Verizon (NYSE: VZ) announced Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) Exchange Server powered VZEmail managed e-mail service to allow small and medium sized businesses as well as mobile professionals to always stay connected, while on the go.

The Basic Exchange Plan supports both POP3 and IMAP protocols, includes 25MB of storage space and Outlook Web Access for $7.99 per month. More expensive, Premium Exchange Plan does the same thing on 100MB of storage space, adding other things in the mix — Outlook Mobile Access, Outlook Anywhere, ActiveSync, and freely downloadable Outlook PC Client (Outlook 2007). For those requiring more space in their inbox, Verizon is selling 25MB for $0.75 per month…

More information is available on Verizon’s website, and the official release is on PRNewswire.
