New Nokia N95 8GB firmware with automatic screen rotation

Sure, you might already be rocking that cool RotateMe hack on your Nokia (NYSE: NOK) N95, but there’s nothing like a little manufacturer-sanctioned love straight from Espoo to make you fall in love with screen-rotation on your N95. A new firmware (v20.0.016) is available for the Nokia N95 8GB (sorry folks, only the European N95-2 is supported for now) that comes with built-in support for the automatic screen rotation feature that the iPhone made so popular (sorry, I had to get that in there).
You can enable and disable the screen rotation feature at will, so there’s basically no reason not to download and install this latest firmware for your Nokia N95 8GB. That is, unless you’re rocking the N95 8GB NAM (N95-4), in which case, you’ll need to wait it out a bit longer.
Grab the new firmware here.

Hack? RotateMe is 3rd party software. Landscape Pro does this too (not a hack either).
There are actually some reasons not to update:
1) The auto-rotation sucks.
2) The menu icons have been shrunk.
3) You’ll have to reinstall your applications.
Oh yeah… Like Jonny said, why’s RotateMe a hack?
I want my V15 back.
Why bother, buy an iphone, its a king and the N95 is foot soldier!
We’ve already got one rabid fanboy posting biased articles in bulk everyday. We don’t need anyone adding fuel to his fire, particularly when they don’t know what they’re talking about.
