Not to be outdone by its CDMA competition, Alltel has finally announced that they’ll be offering the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Curve 8330 to its customers come May 1. With a 2 megapixel camera, EVDO, GPS, microSD card slot and that Curve-alicious QWERTY keyboard, the BlackBerry 8330 is sure to be a hit with Alltel’s customers. That is, if they haven’t already migrated to competing networks in search of some BlackBerry 8330 push email love.
If Alltel still has a place in your heart, you’ll have to wait it out for another week and a half for the 8330 to go live. Until then, you can pre-order your own “Titanium” Curve for $229.99 after new contract and rebates. For what it’s worth, “Titanium” suits the new Curve quite well.
