Hi guys,

Im thinking of getting an 8gb from cpw online for £169, however, when I try to go through the ordering process, cpw take my bank details as well as employment details etc.

Does this mean they will forcefully sign me up to a contract even if I dont want to activate my iphone??

Do let us know your thoughts on this please...

Tnx

I definitely would wait it out for the 3G iPhone as well. But, I'm sure there are plenty of folks on lesser budgets that can make do with EDGE - and for those people, the new low price on the iPhone 8GB is a bargain!

I like the Silver trim :)

Fairly foolish purchase if you ask me (with the 3g iphone launch looming) - however £169 is rather cheap considering a contract isnt 'necessary'. I for one will wait for the 3g version. Lets hope they remove that horrible silver trim on the 3g one!
