AAC Acoustic Technologies Holdings (not to be confused with the AAC that is Advanced Audio Codec) has announced that it expects Nokia (NYSE: NOK) to overtake Motorola (NYSE: MOT) as it’s largest customer this year:
“Revenue from Nokia would account for more than 25 per cent of AAC’s total sales this year….compared with 10 per cent last year, while revenue earned from sales to Motorola is set to decrease to about 25 per cent of total sales this year from 37 per cent last year.”
At the same time it was also announced that sales to RIM, Palm (NSDQ: PALM), and Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) would also be sizeable -together they are expected to increase their share of AAC’s total sales to a combined 15 per cent from 5 per cent last year.
AAC Acoustic Technologies develop and manufacture a complete range of Cellular Phone Receivers, Hearing Aid Receivers, Miniature Speakers, Miniature Multi-function Speakers, Headsets, Microphones and Transducers & Buzzers – and obviously pretty well, judging by the news above!!
