Vertu Constellation Rococo

Vertu is celebrating its 10th birthday this year and is launching the special Constellation Rococo Collection for the event. The stylish series of devices was inspired by the “by the eighteenth century French art, fashion and interior design movement by the same name.” In other words, a new design pattern is created to get new customers.

Rather than shooting for the “classic rich buyers,” this time Nokia’s luxury division seems to target the flower pattern lovin’ folks among the nouveaux riches. The series will go on sale this summer and the phones will be available in noir, scarlet, ivory colors, as well as an exclusive sapphire edition — which features a cabochon sapphire center button, cabochon sapphire screws, and Rococo patterns engraved onto the bezel.
