The most convincing, and rather lengthy, argument why Motorola needs to hire a foreigner to lead the company into the future

Tomi Ahonen writes what is quite possibly the most detailed argument that discusses the United States’ Mobile Telecommunications industry and why the new CEO for the handset division to be spun off should be someone from a different country who has yet to be “poisoned” with the old ideals the system in the states still operates on.
This is exactly my kind of rant since he goes as far back as the 90’s to explain the evolution of mobile telecoms and how the rest of the world has advanced, while North America lagged, lagged and lagged some more.
As someone who left the states 10 months ago to live in Finland, I can see exactly where his anger and frustation are coming from.

This is one of the better articles I’ve read in a while…awesome find -
My friends it is not just in mobile industry we are all fat dumb and happy thinking we are still number one. Keep saying it, you are number one, does not make it so, better wake up soon and start looking around the world for some answers.
