Associated Press is optimizing the news from more than 100 of its member newspapers for the iPhone. The service will deliver AP local, national and international news to the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)’s handset users. In addition, users can expect a full multimedia experience that includes photo galleries and video coverage, as well as interactive experience that will see them rating and sharing information with their friends. With reports being organized by ZIP code, it is quickly to find a local news item you care about.
