35% of Mobile games don't work…

……says GetJar - based on replies from aproximately a thousand of their UK users. Apparently only 15 per cent of users found their games always worked.

GetJar believes that testing is the problem for the high failure rate, and believes the problem is only going to get worse.

True, creating games for a good range of mobile devices is a nightmare - the differences in the JVM (Java Virtual Machine) engines that run most games, and the soft-key differences, mean that a whole tranche of versions need to be made - but I would suspect it's possible there are also "end-user issues" at play here too - make of that what you will!

At any rate, assuming the stat could be somewhat correct, that's a worryingly high number for an area of mobile content that has shown it can make (big) money…

      The Nokia N93i with firmware newer than v11.0.009 have bug - all games (and jbenchmark3d, jbenchmarkHD) which use JAVA 3D not work (closing with error). Nokia not answet at this problem (sending mail in poland).
