Motorola working on a RAZR2 V9 Ferrari Edition

Motorola (NYSE: MOT) seems to have signed a multi-device agreement with Ferrari as this is the second phone they’re rolling out with the famous sports car branding. The first one, RIZR Z8 Ferrari Limited edition, we introduced back in December last year. Now, the American handset maker is reportedly working on a version of the RAZR2 V9 that would also wear the prancing horse brand.
The still unannounced Motorola RAZR2 V9 Ferrari Edition will reportedly have the exact same specs as the original RAZR2 V9 — HSDPA support, 2.2-inch screen, 2 megapixel camera Bluetooth, microSD slot — but would also add some Ferrari-themed content. The bad thing for Ferrari fans, though, is that preliminary reports suggest the best-looking-RAZR2 will go on sale to markets in Latin America and Asia, at least initially.
Finally, the million dollar question is whether users care that much for the logo to pay the premium. Don’t forget it’s the Ferrari we’re talking about here, and yes, I want one!

Hail to the next 5 years of RAZR2 in blue, gold, pink, black, silver, yellow, gold, fuschia, lavender, ferrari, yugo, kia, huyndai, ford focus, chevrolet editions. WOW. I can’t wait until I’ll be able to finally get the silver yugo version of RAZR 2 in four years.
Don’t you love it when a cell phone manufactoror makes a phone with the exact same specs as the previous model and the only difference is the famous logo they slap on it and the $600 price difference? lol.
