Samsung i200

Back in February we posted about Samsung SGH-i200 mid-range smartphone. Now it’s officially announced, but unlike we initially thought, it will come with the latest version of Windows Mobile – 6.1 (not 6.0). The thin device seems designed to turn an average feature phone user into a full fledged smartphone junkie. This little phone has everything a novice smartphone user could dream, including HSDPA support, 2.3-inch QVGA screen, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and an array of MS Office mobile apps that should make everyone more productive while on-the-go. Additionally, the i200′s unique “light sensor” makes sure users minimize the power consumption to adjust lightness of LCD and keypad automatically. No WiFi, though.

The Samsung i200 will be launched in the European market in June and will enter other markets within a month. No pricing details were given.
