BlackBerry 9000 to be called BlackBerry Bold?
By Dusan Belic on Saturday, May 10th, 2008 at 10:02 AM PST In Devices, RIM (Research in Motion), Rumors

Yesterday, we posted information about the upcoming BlackBerry 9000. According to Boy Genius, we should expect the official announcement to take place on Monday, May 12th at WES 2008. Now, a new tidbit of information suggests the upcoming smartphone will be called “Bold.” If that’s the case, I guess we will see more “Bold” versions, like for example Bold 9310 or Bold 9210 with each of them sporting either WiFi, GPS, or both. In addition, let’s not forget two different radio versions — CDMA/EV-DO and GSM/HSDPA, and of course the “Bold global” version which would supersede the 8800 series. We’ll certainly have more information on Monday, if the previously posted rumor proved to be true. And I think it will. Stay tuned…
