Sony Ericsson R300 Radio, C902 Cyber-shot get FCC approval

Two Sony Ericsson phones have been spotted passing the so called FCC hurdle – the R300 Radio and C902 Cyber-shot. The first one is designed for developing countries to allow users to take radio (both AM and FM) with them, where ever they are. The other, more interesting device is the latest and baddest Cyber-shot phone so far – C902. As you’re probably aware, this face-detection baby packs 5 megapixel camera into a stylish slim casing and we love it for that.

Now the question is when we’ll see the mentioned two devices hitting the U.S. market. Honestly, we don’t have a clue. As a matter of fact, we don’t even know whether the Swedish-Japanese handset maker will ever push them to North American consumers. We certainly hope that will be the case with the C902 model, but our hope isn’t actually something you can count on…
