T-Mobile USA delays handsetsNot that anyone is actually waiting for the Motorola (NYSE: MOT) Z6w to launch on T-Mobile (NYSE: DT), but if you were looking for a WiFi-enabled Motorola Z6w slider to put in your pocket, consider your hopes and dreams dashed into oblivion. T-Mobile USA has reportedly nixed their plans to release the sleek Motorola Z6w slider due to “testing issues.” The handset was slated to launch on June 23.

But, things are looking better for fans of the Nokia 5310 Xpress Music and Nokia 5610 Xpress Music. While the two cellphones from Espoo are delayed, T-Mobile is still going to launch the music-centric duo in the next couple months. The Nokia (NYSE: NOK) 5310 Xpress Music should be going live in early June, with the Nokia 5610 Xpress Music seeing some official network-duty in early July.

The question is, will the new Nokia Xpress Music 5610 handset sport 3G radios compatible with T-Mobile’s 1700Mhz AWS spectrum? Here’s to hoping that T-Mobile has delayed the device launches to prepare them for 3G duty on the carrier’s new 3G network.

    5310 not 3G anywhere.

Both are triband, neither 3G. Out within a week or so.
