Nimbuzz (a small company from the Netherlands) has launched Mobile VoIp in the UK. The app apparently aggregates user logins/contacts from a shed-load of online IM services and social networks, including Skype, MSN, Google Talk, Yahoo!, AIM, Jabber, ICQ, Facebook, Myspace, and several others.

Nimbuzz also apparently works on 90+ handsets, including the Series60 and WinMo O/S devices, plus the mass-market Java ones too. Nimbuzz states it has 500K users, generating more than 1 mn logins per week - impressive stats!

I've checked out the site (you can too, here) and it's clean, and nicely-designed - certainly worth a look if you are considering a trial of Mobile VoIP at the moment.
