FlyTunes on iPhoneFlyTunes has announced several changes to its mobile content network — including audio and video podcasts, a new user interface, and a customizable channel guide.

With the addition of audio and video podcasts, FlyTunes now offers over 350 channels of music, talk, video and podcast entertainment choices — far more than fee-based satellite radio services.

More channels naturally bring more hurdle. That’s why FlyTunes is rolling out a new, “streamlined user interface” to let users quickly find and select desired channels from two simple dialog boxes. Each selected channel displays more detailed information, including an SMS link to allow users to send friends a direct link to listen in, and help spreading the word out, we might add. In addition, the new MyGuide feature allows users to personalize their “mobile media experience” by enabling or disabling individual channels and even entire genres from the selection menu.

The new channels, user interface and guide editor are already available to all FlyTunes users.
