Nokia XpressMusic 5310 lands on T-Mobile USA

Previously we thought T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) will release the Nokia (NYSE: NOK) XpressMusic 5310 music phone in June, but the Deutsche Telekom (NYSE: DT)-owner mobile operator surprised us today. That’s a good news, so I won’t rant much about it.

The 9.9mm thin handset is designed for those that want to merge their mobile phone with a digital music player. All components needed are there — including a decent media playback software, QVGA screen, microSD slot, Bluetooth (in case you want to use some wireless headphones), and of course a standard 3.5mm audio jack. In addition, 2 megapixel camera is on board as well to help you take occasional photos.

Interested buyers will have to wait, though, but not for long. T-Mobile said the Nokia XpressMusic 5310 will start selling on May 28th for $49.99 on a contract. There are three versions of the device - all black with purple, orange and red accents.
