Mobile phone concepts usually make us drool in envy and with longing for the possibilities of things to come. So, this new mobile phone concept from Provoke is a bit of a departure from the high-tech wonderment that concept technology usually inspires.

The idea behind Provoke’s Touch Concept is to allow “deep communication” between lovers – transmitting the sensation of your lover’s touch from one handset to another.

Provoke also showed off his “Express” concept that uses colored-light to change a device’s exterior color.

It’s a great idea, but the video makes us a bit squeamish. Anyone else freaked out by the video?

The second video is pretty cool, but the first is CREEPY. I have a feeling that kind of concept might not go to far, but then again……

There was a movie some years back where a bunch of gamers would plug a biologically active game module into their body in order to play some psychic game. The way the Touch concept moves reminds me of that creepy movie.

Anyone know what movie I’m talking about?
