Well, well, well. I guess I’m not the only one smitten with the new HTC Touch Diamond’s impressive feature-set and cutting-edge looks (is there a pun in there?). HTC has apparently gotten enough positive feedback on their HTC Touch successor that they’ve upgraded their shipment projections for the HTC Touch Diamond.
Chinese language tech-rag, Commercial Times, quoted HTC CEO Peter Chou as saying that the company’s previous projection of moving 2 million of the newly announced HTC Touch Diamond handset has been upgraded to 3 million units.
Chou indicated that it took the Taiwanese company 11 months to reach the 2 million-unit milestone for its first-generation HTC Touch handset, but expects to sell the same number of HTC Touch Diamond handsets in just 7 months.

I knew those original projections were a bit low for such an awesome phone.
