3G iPhone casing images show new design
By Will Park on Wednesday, May 28th, 2008 at 1:06 PM PST In Apple, Rumors, iPhone
As we close in on the June 9 Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) WWDC event in San Francisco, more and more images of the next-generation iPhone are coming to light. So much so that we already know, with a fair degree of certainty, just what kind of aesthetic changes to expect in the 3G iPhone.
There are already confirmed changes to the iPhone’s exterior that include more tapered edges, revised docking port connector/speaker area, narrower chrome bezel, and a glossy plastic backing that replaces the Mg-Al cover on the current iPhone.
The latest pictures of the next-generation iPhone casing fall in line with mock-ups gleaned from 3G iPhone case molds.

With the month of May almost done and over with, it’s only a matter of a couple weeks before we get to see the 3G iPhone go live.

that white case is STUNNING !!!!!
damn, this wait is taking just too long
why cant the iphone2 be leaked like many other phones? duh
Well, the volume of iPhone 3G leaks already circulating the web is more than what Apple has traditionally let slip/allowed to be leaked to the public. Apple is all about secrecy, and the iPhone 3G is no exception.
But, I sure do wish Apple would be more forthcoming with upcoming hardware.
Please proofread your work. Spelling mistakes, especially in the first paragraph, are the hobgoblin of a poor writer.
“iamges” has been corrected to “images”
Thanks for spotting all those spelling mistakes.
lol. Well why would he need to proofread his work if he has you as the proofreader Ben? Sorry, couldn’t resist.
White? yuk! looks like a kitchen appliance – when are apple gonna get it, white just isn’t cool. Black – yes, chrome/brushed stainless – yes but white plastic? How many white iPods did they sell once there was the choice of black ones? Maybe it’s a US thing but in Australia/Pacific and the parts of EU I lived in the black ones were way more popular.
