BlackBerry 8820But, there’s a catch. The minor BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) OS 4.5.0.37 update isn’t officially available to the BlackBerry using public. But, that doesn’t mean there aren’t copies of the updated OS circulating the interwebs.

BerryReview had to take down the links to the new OS for BlackBerry 8100,8300, 8700, and 8800 devices, but push-email fiends are encouraged to do a little bit of that “Google (NSDQ: GOOG)” thing on the web. Let us know what you find.

Today Vringo released version 1.0 of Vringo for Facebook. This new version works on Blackberry and Windows Mobile phones using the native contact fields!

Vringo lets you see your friends’ Facebook pictures when they call. When you receive incoming calls from Facebook friends, their photos show up the with caller ID, allowing you to see their recently updated profile pictures.
