Here’s one more “we told ya’ it’s coming” news. The WiFi-enabled BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Pearl 8120 is now available on Rogers (NYSE: RCI) Wireless.
You probably already know everything about the Pearl, so I won’t waste your time there. However, you may not know it’s compatible with Rogers’ UMA VoIP network, meaning you’ll be able to use it for low-cost international phone calls, while in a hotspot. Kinda cool feature, though you may want to opt for the GPS-equipped Pearl (8130), which on the other hand can help you out get around more easily.
Anyway, the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 could be yours for CA$149.99 with a 3-year contract and the price goes up if you opt for a 2-year or a single-year contact. It’s your choice…
