European Commission okays Nokia’s acquisition of Trolltech

Nokia acquisition of Trolltech

The European Commission recently approved Nokia’s voluntary tender offer for all the shares in Trolltech, which we covered back in January. Settlement took place on June 6, 2008, giving Nokia 52,411,283 shares and votes in Trolltech, or 99.4% of all the shares outstanding in Trolltech. Nokia will apply for the delisting of Trolltech’s shares from the Oslo Stock Exchange, effective as soon as possible…
