HP announced that its BlackBerry-killin’ iPAQ 900 Series Business Messenger — which we’ve already seen on FCC’s pages — will start shipping on June 30th. The all-in-one device has virtually everything a business man or woman could ever need — including the full QWERTY keyboard, tri-band UMTS/HSDPA and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, built-in GPS receiver, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 3 megapixel camera. Windows Mobile 6.1 is running the show.
HP haven’t disclosed which CPU the iPAQ 900 uses, nor how much memory (RAM/ROM) it sports. We can only hope they know what’s good for us — i.e. at least 128MB RAM for handling multiple apps at the same time on Windows Mobile is a must.
As for the pricing, all we know the iPAQ 900′s price will “vary by country and region.”
