Virgin Mobile offers Sugar Mama on Facebook

Normally, Virgin mobile offers free airtime when a customer listens to Adverts on their Moby (not dissimilar to Blyk by the sounds of things), however, via a new Facebook app, users can have their Facebook mates earn then free minutes by listening to the Ads on their PC!
“Fund My Phone” is an extension of the Sugar Mama mobile marketing program which allows users to earn up to 75 minutes per month by viewing a variety of advertising and answer a few questions. Customers also earn airtime by completing surveys online, responding to branded text messages or forwarding Sugar Mama spots to friends to share. Virgin Mobile currently has over 700,000 Sugar Mama customers, earning more than 26 million minutes of free airtime.
As regards to what sort of amount of “minutes earned” we are talking about, the first four impressions generate 6 minutes of airtime, then it’s an additional minute per four extra views. Probably someone with some time on their hands will do the stats on that and figure out some scary number of people that would have to consume the ads in order for you to get totally free minutes….
