Alltel Treo 755pPalm has quietly released a new ROM update for the Treo 755p users on the Alltel network. We’re not sure what exactly is included with the new, version 1.03 of the firmware, but it seems like a stability-issue-fixing update.

Palm only said: “This software update is for a phone reset issue that occurs under certain specific and rare conditions.”

As you’re probably already aware, prior to updating you should perform a Hotsync to save your data. Palm advises that users allow up to 45 minutes for the operation.
