Facebook goes native on Palm OS

If BlackBerry and iPhone users can have it, so can Palm (NSDQ: PALM) OS based smartphone owners. I’m talking about the Facebook application, the one that allows you to poke and chat with your buddies while pretending to work.
Facebook is now fully optimized for Palm OS. The native application allows users to:
- Send and receive Facebook messages, and respond to friend requests.
- View and post photos, right from a smartphone, or snap and send off new ones.
- Same goes for video - you can upload clips directly from your handset.
- Receive News Feeds, change your status, and get friends’ status updates on the go.
- Browse and search profiles, post messages to friends’ walls, and send friend requests.
- Open your Contacts and dial your friends with just one touch.
The application can be freely downloaded at go.palm.com/facebook or over the air at mobile.palm.com/facebook.
