HTC Touch Diamond coming soon to Vodafone UK

Vodafone may scored some iPhone 3G distribution deals, but in the UK, O2 (NYSE: TEF) will still do the iThing. However, the Big Red did manage to get the HTC Touch Diamond and will certainly tout it as the iPhone killer. Scrap that, they’re already doing so:

Feature rich Windows Mobile 6.1 device utilising HTC’s new Touchflow UI. This device is in a tablet form factor meaning it is touch screen only. The Diamond surpasses the iPhone in all aspects, the key differentiator is the inherent flexibility of the Diamond. It comes loaded with Vodafone (NYSE: VOD) Email Plus and the Vodafone Sat Nav program.

The device is already in the “Coming Soon” section of the Vodafone Business offering and is expected to launch in July. Hopefully, it will also drop into the “Personal Customers” area too.
