and how bout the fact everywhere you go sprint has more 3g coverage than AT&T….Im in cali..Sprint owns AT&T here.. AT&T only has like 20% 3G coverage here…yuk!

I think Sprint’s price points will be more competitive than AT&T’s.

As far as handsets are concerned, you all know which is my fav

I’ve played with the Instinct and it’s a damn fine handset – but we will indeed have to see what sales numbers look like. Of course, we’ll have to compare US sales to US sales – the iPhone is global while the Instinct is thus far only a US CDMA handset.

I guess when it comes down to it, we are going to have to let the sales do the talking. Everyone has their different opinions so the only way to find out is to see which side has the most members by seeing how good the phones sell.

While the iPhone is more expensive, it’s light years ahead of this just-not-quite-as-generic-as-all-the-other-phones phone. Let’s see what its browser share is in 6 months.

IMHO I don’t see how this is even remotely a threat to the iPhone… it’s not THAT much cheaper, and there’s one major feature this phone still lacks: an easy to develop for OS and the backing of the development community.

The instinct is just another phone with a few more bells and whistles. The iPhone is more of a new computing and communications platform.

Now, if the Instinct ran Android, maybe it’d be a different story…
