The Samsung Instinct is being touted as Sprint (NYSE: S)’s answer to the iPhone 3G. Chock-full of features, a slick, full-body touchscreen, and boasting numerous accolades and an incredible price-point, the Samsung Instinct is shaping up to be a serious contender for the US touchscreen market.
And, to make sure Sprint customers know they’re appreciated, Sprint is announcing a new contest. The Instinct-carrier is offering five (5) FREE Samsung Instincts to Sprint customers that submit an interesting “cellphone use” story.
The contest requires that you’re (1) a Sprint customer and that (2) you want to tell Sprint how you use your mobile phone. Simply tell Sprint the “cool ways” that you use your phone and you’ll be entered in to a random drawing for a FREE Samsung Instinct - it really doesn’t get much easier than that.

I use my phone to keep track of my teenagers whereabouts.
Lol. I use my phone mainly for texting and emailing. I usually due it on my break from work. It’s what usually keeps me SAIN! MWAhahahahahahahaaaaa… Sorry, I got another 3-4 hours to go.
I also use it to talk to my friends and play games on it. I can easily use up to 4 hours worth of minutes a DAY.
With out my phone, I’m so lost in this word. I am a huge social fanatic and need my connection to the world at all times. I work a good 10 hours a day so I don’t really have much time to hang out with all my peeps so I get my social “fix” by playing Xbox Live and talking to my friends and my gf for hours!
I also use my phone for the internet, tv, and as a music player. I am a member of several forums so when im not talking on it, I’m on the internet replying to all my subscribed posts. I watch alot of Cartoon Networt usually for Adult Swim. Yes, I’m an Anime Fan! And I usually listen to music when I’m Owning in Halo 3 over Xbox Live!
I use my phone so much that I can easly waste the battery TWICE in one day! I currently have a Palm Centro but I really wouldn’t mind the Samsung Instinct. In fact I would PREFER it. Expecially if it comes with a spare Battery!

In April while packing to leave Lihue Hawaii, I dropped my flip Samsung.
The top broke off.
I could not use my phone because the top was totally separated from the bottom.
I knew I wanted to purchase the Instinct but It would not become available for a few months.
The phone bottom would turn on but I could not hear or talk to any one.
A few days later, I put my wired head seat into the bottom and it worked.
Although I didn’t have caller ID, and I didn’t have a address book
I could answer phone calls and if I knew a contact phone number I could dial it.

I use my phone for everything…. to check the weather when I am at one of my children’s ball games or just out and about. I use it to listen to music while I work out or clean my house. I use it for travel and gps. And definetly for texting and picture messaging. I use it also to schedule appointments and set alarms, with out my phone I’d be lost…. and a new instinct would make all those things so much easier and it would make friends and family sooooo jealous they’d have to go out and get one!
I am a limousine driver who could use a phone like the Instinct for navigational purposes. We do a lot of residential pick-ups in the Las vegas areas that are in new neighborhoods not shown in are mapbooks. I considered buying a garmin gps device, but after looking at the new Instinct, It makes more sense to get it and way cheaper to buy a new phone with gps built-in. I’m waiting to be eligible to qualify for a new plan in January.
year 2005 i purchase 2 cellphone at your store in la the service ok no prpblem but win move sanfrancisco i never recieve anystate ment two my telephone bill i keep calling customer service what happen to my statement allmost 2 year from now on i never have it

My girl friend have one of the Instinct phone she show me all that the interesting thing the phone can do, which is all what I would want in my phone. I am always on the road, having the Instinct phone I woul’nt miss nothing. The news is on it,my favorite soap opra,
the weather,internet,sports,navigator,texting,send pictures,search the web,calender,clock,and much more. I don’t have to buy a navigator any more. When i win the Instinct phone. I would encourage every one of my family members to get one. The Instintc is the best pone ever come out on the market, thonk you SPRINT
I live on the west coast, and I have a sister that lives on the east coast. She recently bought a iphone and boy was I jelous. Well last saturday I went to pay my sprint bill, and found out that my contract was about to expire. Thats when I saw IT! The INSTINCT! It was the most perfect cell, that I’d easily compare it to the one thing in my life that I love to death; my 2007 chrysler 300. The web was like using my navagational system, and the live TV feature has the same clarity of my movie monitors and voice action makes me want one BAD!! Now who’s jelous? I know my sister will be, when I win one. She could not believe all the features, and had to go see the Instinct for her self.

i would like to have the instinct because i would not get lost again while driveing to the beach with my four daughters. and i would always take pics of me and my girls! i never had a nice phone like the instinct!
it will be more easier for me to text. the touch screen look handier then all the other phones i had before, and this phone seems like it would make my daily routine so easy like using the alarm, and it looks so AWESOME!!!!!!!
I had to get an important message to my mom. She does not have a cell phone with sprint feature that send text messages to land line I was able to get my message to her.

hey, yeah i use my phone for everything. web use, texting, calling of course, and music. but my samsung blade is not in the best condition. and yes i have been talking about the instinct to everyone i kno. i want it so bad, but cant afford it right now. my friend has one, and it is hands down the best phone on the market right now.
I use my phone the most to text message all the time it is fun and easier to do. I also download song and screen savers. I am always getting the newest phone that comes out from sprint i am just having a problem trying to get the instinct it is the hottest phone out there and right now it is at a high prices to buy i just wish i could get one soon
My phone is what keeps me going every day. I’d use every feature it has!!! I play a lot of sports, and I forget when practices are. I would use the email and texting features to keep in touch with family and friends while I’m away on trips with my friends when our team and school band travels. I’m away from home a lot, and the picture and video sending feature would allow me to sent pictures to my family all the stuff I’ve seen and how I’m doing. I would really use this phone and all its features, because I cant afford a new one,(and I really need one) and this phone would make my life so much easier. i mean the GPS would help me find friends houses and the navigation feature would help with finding ball parks and courts to play my crazy awesome sports in. thank you for your consideration in allowing me to enter into your contest. Being of age I intend to forget things example; driving by my house on the way home from work because I made the wrong turn. The new instinct phone will navigate me to locations, I just can’t seem to find. The family plan w/GPS on my child’s phone, will allow me to track him down, as I listen to music downloads. Music keeps me calm, before entering into a store were he is playing v-games vs being in school. The megapixels camera will allow me to show co-workers the fashion of the day, just a picture message away.
My year started off really great. I was recently married to a great guy. A month ago everything changed. I found out that I am losing my hearing due to an atuoimmune disease. I now keep in touch with family,friends, and my doctors via e-mails and text messaging. The new Insinct would be a great help in all of this. The faster speed and touch screen would really help alot in this situation. I have never had any problems with my Sprint service and have been happy with it. Sincerely, Cindy Stufflebean
with this new and fast touch screen the possibilities are endless. I will be able to tap into the navigation system if I feel I don’t know my way . Also I could shoot and share pictures with my friends and family. Furthermore, I am a beautician, so keeping my hands free is important to me. Thus the voice action would be perfect, as it would allow me to call, text etc. instantly. Overall this phone seems immaculate and I would appreciate it very much.
Sprint service has been good so far and I know having this spectacular I phone would make my time with them more rewarding. With this phone I could text and share pictures with my friends and family instantly. Also I could tap into the navigation system when I feel I’m lost. More importantly I am a beautician, so keeping my hands free is vital. Therefore, this phone with the voice action button I would be able to call,text etc. instantly. Hence. A few days ago I went into the sprint store,due to my LCD screen out on my cell phone. I was assisted by customer service promptly. The you told me I would receive a replacement phone by tuesday. while in the store i was looking at the “INSTINCT”phone. My son has the latest sprint phone.So watching him use his phone struck my couriosity. I asked the gentleman helpng me how much the phone cost. He told me the phone cost $229.00,but that I had a rebate of $100.00 but I would have to wait 90days. So i said what a deal. you can’t go wrong with that.
hi, i use my phone for many things i have a special needs son , so im always getting calls from school , doctors ect..i also have a son who acts so im getting calls for auditions ,without my phone i would be lost ! the only draw back is that i gave the phone number to my mother!!!!!!!!! who calls 100times a day! i really need a phone that has gps, and internet, because im always getting lost, and i call my husband at work to ask him where i am and he gets so mad because he has no clue!!! so he is useless to me and that gets me more frustrated , I just assume he should know where we are lol… then the kids get mad because im lost so i really could use this phone to help orginize my life better so i dont turn into one of those crazy nut case moms !!!! thankyou , michelle
I have been years behind everyone in technology and features in todays phone uses that everyone today takes for granted. All my friends and business contacts ask me to text message them or down load something or view something that I always have found a hassle to do or I was just intimidated to try. I am also embarrassed to show my old phone as everyone else has something new. My old sprint phone (Sanyo) works great, but doesn’t have a fraction of todays features. I need “bluetooth” hands free ability, because that is now law in California. A wire from my ear to my phone is just not comfortable-is not working (uncomfortable) and has got to go.
The “Instinct” looks sharp, easy to use, does all, is state of the art, and I wouldn’t be ashamed to show and use it everyday for work or personal uses. it looks like it doesn’t get classier than having an “INSTINCT.”
I work all over the United States and I send messages and emails to my kids here in California. It would be much easier and faster with the New Instinct. I have the Everything Vision plan but it does not work well with the Centro. I sometimes get lost going places so the navigation would be very helpful also. I cancelled my land line for my Sprint Family plan! It was Cheaper and much more convenient! If I were to win, I would upgrade to the everything Plan and get another phone for my son!!
I have a son that’s in the navy, he travels several times and i worry so much for him. i can use the phone not only to send messages but know on the web how he is doing and seeing if the ocean is clear for him to travel. He sometimes ports in differant areas of the U.S. and so i can use the GPS to find his location to visit in a timely manner. The update pics he sends me shows he’s safe and having a good time over seas. He’s a electronic gadget magnet when it comes to cool toys, he wants one and being a soldier for the NAVY, he can truly convince others on board to do the same..The phone is a real nice change of pace and with all the cool features it’ll out price and do any ” I-POD phone any day.

I’ve been looking for a “Sprint” of a product. With the Instinct I will be able to fulfil all my communication needs, both for business and pleasure. This remarkable instrument will handle my email, phone, calendar appointments, voice mail, TV and a whole “bunch” more. I’ll never get “lost” again either. “Instinct” will really show me the way.

I am currently a teacher, and I’ve been a sprint customer since 2004. The new Spint Instinct is every teachers dream come true, because it is the ideal device of making teaching easy! Using the new Instinct gives me purpose when I need to phone a parent after hours, e-mail Johnny his homework, or create a video project for our field trip next month. I can now say; “goodbye” to big bulky school devices and “Hello” to the Instinct. When school’s out for the summer, “Instinct” will lead me to my vacation getaway using fun stuff, like the GPS system, Live search, Music & more. Thank You Sprint!

I use my phone to organize my life with the calendar and the to-do list. I send txt messages when I don’t want to accidentally disturb a meeting that the receiver might be in. I play solitaire on it when waiting in lines. Sometimes it is the only camera with me when I need it. I use map software to find a close gas station in an unfamiliar area. Naturally, I use it as a phone as well. Can the Instinct replace my Treo 650? Let me find out and report back.
I am an ASL for Troop 964. The new Samsung Instinct sure would come in handy. Last year on the way to Camp Owasippe, I missed a turn and it took an extra hour and a half to get to the camp site. The instinct’s GPS would have helped tremendously. While at camp a storm blew in one evening, an Instinct with the oversized 3.1″ screen would have helped to instantly track the storm system and act accordingly. Finnaly, being able to take pictures, download them to our troop website so parents can see what their kids are up to would be a great asset.Remember, be prepared!
When bored at work I IM my college buddies to have someone to talk to besides my co-workers but most of all I IM to hear the doorbell on AIM everytime a message comes through. I lead an exciting life…lol. I am also bad with directions so I Mapquest locations from my phone…I still get lost…but atleast I can peek at my phone for help.
hi! I use my phone for multiple things. Sprint is by far the best and I’m glad to say I’ve been with them for years. Since the years I’ve noticed sprint added a lot of features to their phones to make them better.As for my phone I use it for internet, text messaging, email, music, games, making and receiving calls,watching television and much more.Sprint is improving a lot of things and features so i will be utilising more things in the future. who needs anything else when your phone can do so much and entertain for hours.

I LOVE MY SPRINT UNLIMITED PLAN. I LOVE TO TALK AND TEXT AND I NO LONGER HAVE TO TIME MYSELF OR CHECK MY USAGE. I ALSO CAN CHECK MY EMAIL ALL DAY LONG. I CAN HANDLE MY BUSINESS ONLINE AS WELL BECAUSE I CAN GO ON MANY WEBSITES. I ALSO LOVE THE NAVIGATION. NOW I NO LONGER GET LOST…LOL… I’LL NEVER SWITCH TO ANY OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER… I LOVE SPRINT!!!!!!
