What we have here today is a new theme for select BlackBerry device owners. The so called PlayStation 3 theme for BlackBerry adds the so-much-needed playful touch to the 8300 and 8800 series, allowing you to handle your day-to-day mobile activities easier. Or at least, that’s the way I feel about it.
Virtually every single graphic has been customized and the UI looks like it was grabbed from the upcoming BlackBerry 9000. Rollover effects are especially nice and so are all the icons used.
One thing I don’t quite understand is why they haven’t made it available for the Pearl owners, though that’s not actually a downside but a developer’s choice.
The PS3 theme for BlackBerry is available for $7 at CrackBerry Shop and few more screenshots follow after the jump.
