Samsung is launching a new rugged candybar, GT-B2700, that is certified to be resistant to water and dust. The idea seems to tackle this relatively under-served market and offer quite stylish (for a rugged device) phone.
As for the specs, don’t expect the high-end features of a modern smartphone. The B2700 packs quad-band GSM/GPRS + EDGE radio, 1.9-inch 176×220 pixels screen, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0, built-in compass and altimeter, music player, 1300 mAh battery, 30 MB of internal memory, and a microSD memory slot. It measures 115x52x18 mm and will start selling at the end of the summer for 330 USD (210 EUR)…

The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
