The LG Dare might be stealing more than its fair share of the CDMA spotlight on Verizon’s network, but that doesn’t mean Big Red isn’t prepared to offer its subscriber-base a healthy serving of Chocolate for the summer season. Chocolate, as in LG Chocolate 3 – the second revision (or third helping) of LG’s music-centric Chocolate handset lineup.
The first LG Chocolate to sport a clamshell (flip) form-factor, the LG Chocolate 3 is slated to hit Verizon on July 14 and bring with it a price-tag of $129. Of course, a 2-year contract and $50 rebate are going help get at the $129 price-point, but if the LG Chocolate 3′s EVDO (no Rev. A here, folks) data connection, 2 megapixel camera, FM transmitter and microSD card slot are more than enough for your music-listening needs, the price looks to be just right.
A 1-year contract nets you an LG Chocolate 3 for $199 after $50 rebate. Or, you can opt to pony up $299 to buy an LG Chocolate 3 free and clear of any contract-strings.
Look for the LG Chocolate 3 to drop in Black and Baby Blue next week!
