We’ve already seen enough iPhone 3G press-shots to know exactly what the upcoming Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) handset will look like, but there’s just something about live unboxing photos that gets us going in the morning.
iPhonePortugal has posted unboxing pics of the iPhone 3G for all the world to drool over. The 8GB iPhone 3G pictured here is apparently one of just 16 that are apparently going to be made available later this week.
The metallic finish of the volume rocker really comes through in these live shots. And, the more tapered edges help give the slightly thicker next-generation iPhone 3G a slimming profile.
The box? Classic Apple, and classic iPhone. We expected as much.

Notable notes: faster internet. Who knew?
