If you’ve been thinking to switch to T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) or to get yourself a new line/phone on T-Mobile, now may be the right time to do so. Wal-Mart has a whole array of T-Mobile phones on a discount. Let me just point you few of the deals:
- T-Mobile Wing – FREE
- BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Curve Titanium – you make $50
- Samsung Blast – you make $75
- BlackBerry Pearl (black, sapphire, white, ruby) – you make $50
- Nokia (NYSE: NOK) 5310 XpressMusic (orange, purple, red) – you make $50
- MOTORIZR Blue – you make $50
- T-Mobile Dash – you make $50
- MOTO W490 (grape, bubble gum pink, black) – you make $50
- BlackBerry Pearl 8120 – FREE
- BlackBerry 8820 – $99.99
Prices are after rebates and with a contract, but nonetheless… Here’s the link to the Wal-Mart’s page with all the deals. I’m sure you’ll find something interesting.

Walmart is a joke. 95 percent of their phones are refurbished. I wouldn’t take any of their phones even if they are free. Plus some dumbass employee will screw your plan up.
I do use Wal-Mart for alot of my shopping but I wouldn’t buy a phone from them. I would only purchase a phone from a cellphone store. When I look for a product, I also look for a place that will help me with the product if issues ever occur down the line. I’m sure the employees there know how to do an activation but when it comes down to device questions they would probably just refer me to the manuel. Just like I go to Gamestop to purchase all my gaming stuff, I would need to go to a cellphone store to purchase a phone. It’s better to work with someone that has exclusive training to one thing rather then work with someone who has training in the basics of several things. Or is that just me?
I disagree…. i don’t have alot of money and cheap and convienient is the way to go at times. I believe its a good deal….I guess until the fine print is read…..Id try the offer though!
Not free anymore now it’s 99.99
I happen to work at walmart in the connection center. The reason our phones are so cheap compared to cell phone stores is because we have a contract with the companies to set the prices at what walmart wants them to be. Slogan: SAVE MONEY LIVE BETTER. but if you want u can go to a cell phone store and spend 4x more than what walmart has the same exact phone for. And this thing that walmart sells refurbished phones totally not true, all our phones are brand new in the box. Sure Verizon, Sprint and who ever else will tell you they are refurbished because they are trying to get your sell they make commisson.
It is against the law in most states to sell electronics as new if they are actually refurbished. If a piece of electronics (and cell phones qualify as electronics) is refurbished, it must say so on the packaging and the device itself. I know for a fact that Wal-Mart sells only 1st quality electronics. The reason our prices are so low is we have the ability to purchase obscene quantities of product and we have the backing to go to a vendor and tell them what we want to sell it for. If a vendor does not like our price, they can pull their products but with more than 7400 stores worldwide, that would be a huge market to pull out from. It is also why we can sell phones and phone plans from all the major companies (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile ect) while the “true” cell phone stores can usually only represent one vendor.
