It wasn’t that long ago when we saw Telus (NYSE: TU)’ youth-oriented MVNO, Koodo Mobile, opening its virtual doors. Now, less than four months later they are tweaking prices and plans.
- Talk and Text Plan for $25 now includes picture and video messaging.
- Unlimited Messaging is now $10/month, but also includes picture and video messaging.
- Caller ID, Voicemail and Unlimited Messaging bundle is now $15 (again with picture and video messaging).
Prices for the customers who bought into the plans at the start will stay the same and in accordance to their contracts.
In addition to price changes, a new rate plan is introduced. The so called “Nationwide Talk and Text Plan” costs $45 and includes free Canada-wide calls, 250 anytime minutes and unlimited messaging.
Finally, there’s a new feature “Unlimited Browsing” which costs $7 per month.

@Dusan
I don’t know if I’ve overlooked this, but I believe Telus and Bell are both planning on charging for incoming texts
Oh, and since we’re on the topic.
Rogers just tripled their data from 2G’s to 6GB’s for an additional $30 per month. I guess this is there response to Apple’s diverting and consumer backlash.
