Symbian Foundation getting a little larger today, 9 more companies joining

The Symbian Foundation, you’ve heard of it, you’re probably still confused by the announcement, well good news is a few more members joined today, 9 in fact: mobile operators 3, América Móvil and TIM, semiconductor manufacturer Marvell plus services and software providers Aplix, EB, EMCC Software, Sasken and TietoEnator. This is adding to the 11 already included: AT&T, LG Electronics, Motorola, Nokia, NTT DOCOMO, Samsung Electronics, Sony Ericsson, STMicroelectronics, Texas Instruments, Vodafone and of course Symbian themselves.

150 organizations in total have registered to join the foundation since their website went live on June 24.
