Kingston’s out with the 8GB microSDHC card

By Dusan Belic on Tuesday, July 15th, 2008 at 4:15 AM PST In Accessories, Announcements

Kingston 8GB microSDHCKingston has announced that it is now offering the 8GB microSDHC card. Yeah, it’s kinda strange and I also don’t understand why it took them so long. Sandisk has been selling these for quite some time now.

Anyway, according to Kingston, the Class 4 card (4MB/sec) can store “more than 1,500 digital songs, more than 4,000 images from a 5MP camera phone, or up to eight hours of video.” It has a suggested price of $58.00, and is backed by a lifetime warranty and 24/7 technical support.

It’s a slow news day, I’m sure you can tell…
