Virgin Mobile, always looking to offer new hardware to its customers, has announced that they will be picking up the LG Rumor for its SMS text messaging users in Canada.
The 17.8mm thick vertical slider features a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and speakerphone. But, the LG Rumor’s dual keypad and slide-out QWERTY keyboard design takes the lion’s share oft the limelight. For text messaging aficionados, a physical QWERTY keyboard is a nice addition to the numeric keypad on the front face of the device. And, now Canadians on Virgin Mobile Canada’s network can get their own LG Rumor, in Black, for $79.99 on a 3-year plan, or $199 to purchase outright. I got the LG Rumor from Virgin in Dec 2008 and I have to say I love the phone… It handles great and it looks sharp, sterdy slide and a good scratch resistant screen… I got mine for $0 on a 3 year term, I actually got two for free because my girl needed one too… Nice phones i recommend them for any average cell phone suer

He he he he, i got mine for $99 at Future Shop!! It’s a sweet phone! Really guys, maybe you should start looking for better deals, $139 is quite a bit for pre-paid. I got mine on December 08 as well, so it was on sale, i thought it would be more money, but 99 bucks for this sweetness! Can’t believe it! Anyways, could anyone tell me how to play music on it? Every time I try to play the the tunes thinghy on the menu, it just turns itself off. I tryed hooking on the headphones, but it didn’t make any difference, i was just wondering if there was some sort of trick to it, im desperate for help!! Please!! Anyone?
