LG Q2 2008 Results: 27.7 million phones sold, new record for the company

LG sold 27.7 million mobile phones during the second quarter of this year, breaking the record of 24.4 million it set only a quarter ago. The company plans to sell over 100 million devices this year, but warns that sales of higher end devices might drop due to the current state of the global economy.
