Orange UK goes EeePC for Mobile Broadband too…

Following on from my post the other day about Vodafone (Portugal) using EeePCs for their new broadband offering, Orange UK are now rolling out the EeePC in mobile broadband packages…
The ‘connected laptop’ packages include a cheaper-than-an-iPhone £25-per-month consumer tariff offering the popular Asus Eee PC 900 mini laptop. Users get a dongle with their Eee and Orange’s ‘Internet Everywhere’ package – with a data allowance of 3GB, and 100 texts from the laptop.
There is also a business user offering, with HP laptops and more expensive (£35/£40/£45) packages. Both the consumer and business contracts require a 24 month sign-up (bit harsh?), and all of this kicks off next month.
